Ya, the stock does have 2 1/4 pipe, and so does the GMPP. But with that GM cat-back, all the bends will be mandrel bends, so you'll get alot better flow...

I dont know the price but yes GM covers the GMPP exhaust under your current warranty. It actually is common sense because you can buy this at any chevy dealer. But from what I heard the install price shouldnt be more than 200.

its a direct bolt on system, just do it yourself and get a little more familiar with your ride. not to mention the fact that if i could personaly save 200 bucks, that would be going toward my next mod.

Don't the GMPP Exhaust tips have to be welded on? I know that they are sold seperately and don't come mounted for the 2.0

no, it bolts up as stated previously.....the hardest part is getting the old exhaust off...it has to be cut near the rear wheels.

How long does it take to install? I was thinking about getting the Pacesetter exhaust, but no welding, and self-installation sounds like its worth the couple hundred bucks.

Where does it bolt to?

the GMPP exhaust takes maye 10-15 minutes to install. It uses the stock hangers to mount.
