Going to mod

So going off of knowledge, that hp at the crank is higher than at the wheel, 2.2's have roughly 120 horsepower at the wheel completely stock correct?

What could/should I do to add roughly 30 more whp?

Intake
Exhaust
Headers
Full electrical tuneup?

What else is out there, that is DYNO PROVEN to add horsepower, and not just " oh I think it made a difference" heh

I also need to work on traction, cause I already spin all the way through first.

all of the above.. the intake wont get you but a few hp and a full exhuast will probably get you around 10 to 15hp and as far as the tuning your sol still the tuning from clear image becomes avalible unless your willing to get a piggy or standalone.. you could also get a 2.4 mani and add a lil power with that too..

as far as traction goes get some good z rated tires..

What yellow said. CAI, full exhaust (this includes the B-pipe aka downpipe), 2.4 manifold for peak power. Also, there should be some basic tuning available soon.

Do you drive on sand, or do you rev to 4K every time you go into first? The 2.2 isn't that prone to wheel spin.

speed ratings dont mean anything when refering to traction, get R-compounds.

but the z rated tires are usually always a softer compound though. thats why i said z rated.

motor/tranny mounts... they dont add power, but they let you harvest the power you already have

ROFL! The hell it isn't! When i am at the track, after i do my burn out i still spin through first and partway into 2nd when i am launching between 1800-2000rpm, if i try launching under that i get wheel hop from hell. Just my experience though.......Of course the pos contis don't help that problem either

Yeah, If I launch it around 3k I spin all the way through first, havent tried going to second cause I ran out of parking lot lol.

I imagine if the tires spin this much, I wouldnt want them to grip right away, im sure the torque would bend something. Not that we have 400lbs of torque, but the tires sure roast for 150lbs.
