got a ?
got a ?
starting off with intake. i was thingking about aem or maybe gm but i want to find out for sure what would b best value. some openions from u all might help. i know there aint much difference.
Please do a search next time, there are thousands of posts concerning which intake is better and what not. For the best value and bang for the buck, i would go with the infamous air box mod. If you really want a CAI then my next choice is with Injen. However there are alot of choices out there, AEM, Fujita, GMPP, air box mod, etc. Personally I just picked up a Injen CAI from NGA for 215 shipped, just waiting for it to arrive.
i am a noob. i don't care gotta start somewhere. but got to admit thats some funny ****.
injen on the way. thx for the advice to the ones that helped.let u all know how it gos when i throw it on.

There are two known issues with using an aftermarket intake. The first is due to greater air flow, you may throw lean codes. It's not a problem, just annoying. Second, avoid oiled filters. You want a dry element. There have been problems with the MAF getting contaminated.
And I suggest NOBODY do any flaming.

should get in on the injen group buy that NGA is offering. Its a great price and don't know how long it will last. Also injen is one of the most popular models with cobalt owners, especially with it being both a SRI and CAI
got more ?? liveing in this area has big swings in temp.about 100 to 110 in the summer and 50 to 30 just to give an example. just wondering if it would be better to run short ram or full. lots of resons for asking for 1 thing runin it full im scared of getting water in if it rains. most of the time its dry here. give me thoughts or experiances because i don't want to kill my car or warrenty.
Talked to the designer in person at Nopi in Atlanta last year. The DYNO numbers was very impressive. Can not remember them off the top of my head. But if I recall correctly they were in the double digits. Don't quote me as I can not remember EXACTLY what the numbers were.
Just look around.
