After checking the connections themselves for the temp sensor:
Check the thermostat. (Generally this is a p0128 faulty thermostat code though...doesn't hurt to check it out).
Other possible causes that could trigger this code would be:
Low engine coolant level
faulty cooling fan
faulty coolant temperature sensor
faulty intake air temperature sensor

Same thing happened to me, check your thermostat. It is most likely stuck open or closed. I took it to the dealership and that's what the problem was. It was stuck open and my a/c wouldn't blow cold because of it also
As I stated before, check the thermostat...then go deeper...should be able to figure it out without much problem.
Do you have any problems with the car (I know you have no codes, but how is the car running, fine?)...if you don't have any problems with the car itself, then I'm leaning towards thermostat....even though you're in AZ, test your heat...is it getting hot or just kind of warm? That should be a sure indicator of the thermostat.
Otherwise, if you can't figure it out...take the car in or talk to a mechanic for ideas...sometimes you can get one to help you out without paying...just call and talk with someone over the phone.

mregan has it on the dot! same exact thing happened to me. didnt throw a code even tho the cool air went out and the coolant temperature was not showing. It the thermostat stuck open more than likely. If you drive on it for a while tho the cel should come on
