Grinding going into 3rd

So just recently my car started grinding going into 3rd, all the other gears are good. Any thoughts on what it may be.

Also what are my options for upgrading my tranny/clutch. Its a 05 2,2

Synchro. Change your fluid and hope for the best.(Mobil1 ATF)

Tranny there is no real upgrade, get it fixed or get a new/used box. Teh F23 is pretty good box except it never had LSD in our cars. Lotsa choices on clutch.
