Talking guess what i got my hands on

well i managed to get my hands on something pretty sweet, for the longest time i was looking for a new muffler to replace my megan, i didint like the look of it, so i searched and searched, i didnt want a cheap generic muffler, so i turned to greddy...i searched and searched, and guess what? they only have full exhaust available, so i had to either A buy a 700 dollar exhaust only to use the muffler, or B do some hunting...well nothin online gave me anything...even used the exhaust range in the 300's, yeah my megan was 330, im not spending 300 on a muffler, so i gave up, well what do you know i run into these sitting at my friends house

2 EVOII muffler, they are part of a 1049.99 kit for a v6 accord, either or, i bought them off him, and now iam looking into throwin them onmy car...so my question is...install them both? or just one and sell the other?

ps-they are stainless steel 2.5" inlet, 4.5"outlet, they have some wear and tear, nothin icant fix, they are scratched on the bottom, but nothin not fixable

they look almost the same as the megan. and please only install one, putting them both on would make your car look worse than it does with the megan

im not to sure on pricing, and i was already thinking 2 would be over kill, and the thing about this one is the tip, its offset to the bottom, so i can hide more of the canister in the cars underbody, so less shows thru the bottom, which is a big deal with the megan on the base model...as for the price, im not to sure,i have tot hink it thru, i woudl prob let one go for 150shipped, seems fair to me...i will clean them up and post pics of them all nice and clean...the stuff on them is dirt and mud from sitting on the porch for so long...

well that is muffler alone your taling about this is the muffler and tip, from greddy, not a cheap brand at all so it seems fair to me...check their site, the cheapest exhaust they even offer is like 600 bucks...but whatever...im sure some people will see thiese things arent cheap, and arent available on their own
http://motors.shop.ebay.com/_Car-Tru...wZevo2QQ_fxdZ1
^^^searched EVO2 on ebay, they dont even have replicas for them

yea but this is used, it has some damage, if i can get a muffler on average for lets say 85ish and a tip for lets say 20 at murrays or autozone, thats 105ish

u should sell for 75 shipped maybe even less considering the condition, idk its up to

well like i said idk yet, i am going thru multiple forums to see what people sell these for...and yes its used, but still, its the name that holds its value...i will look into it, i will see what people offer for it, wont put it on the classified until i get one on, i might be able to get i on later today, in the morning, need to see if i have time...also they look dirty in the pics, they just need a quick wash anf buff, i snapped them pics right after i got them...they still have dirt, when i sell they will be completely reconditioned and polished back to a shine...

They look fine for a Supra, but I'm gonna venture to say like crap on a 2.2 Cobalt.

A "Y" pipe could work too.

the thing with them is there is enough room under the car to hide 90% of the muffler, and only have the tip comingout, that whats i like about the tip being at the bottom not dead center...more of it will hide...i checkced already using the pass side, it all hides good, and i will think about the dual piping...

I did the write-up on putting duals on, and it's easy. And sounded WAY better than just one.
