Im looking to convert the 2.2 coilpack from a saturn ion to my LE5 2.4. Its way cleaner looking and bolts right up. Im an electrician and an autobody tech so i should be able to adapt it i just cant find a pinout diagram online.

 

its not that simple. the 2.4l uses 4 seperate coils directly controlled by the pcm. the early 2.2l ignition setup you posted uses 2 coils and an ignition module, it uses 2 timing control wires for the pcm to control the timing.

end result is it wont work. its also an inferior ignition system.
