i am looking for a good set up on my 08 2.2

i want to buy a new header/downpipe and a cat back system

i also have a CAI

what do u guys recommend?

There are a few factors to consider, but I'll shoot from the hip for now.


I would recommend either the Vibrant or the ZZP header/dp setups and the GMPP cat-back.

i was looking at the zzp header/dp and they seem to be a little bit more reasonable than the vibrant

Depends on what kind of setup you are looking for. If you are after more low end power, a longtube setup is the way to go.


If price is the most important, I would suggest looking in the classifieds section and getting a used one. There are some pretty decent deals every now and again.

The vibrant kit is a great setup for the price. Also most use Injen intakes as they fit great, dont through engine codes, and also offer great power increase.

i think i am going to go with the zzp set up when i have some money, i am still confused with what catbac system i want.... does the megan racing one fit the 2.2s? and how will this set up work with an automatic?
