Header Help?

I had the pacesetter header installed on my 2.2 and i have mixed emotions about it. The gains are well worth the money but the sound it makes is horrendous. Whenever you step on it, theres a clicking/hissing sound. Is this normal or do I have a gas leak or something?

I have been debating what to get for my car next, I think i am definitely going to get Sportlines next, an i wanted to do something with my exhaust, but i wasnt sure wether i should get cat-back or not, should i get cat-back, or do you recommend this header?

Ecotec are noisy engines, that is true. A bad gasket could definitely make it worse. I am looking into this problem myself right now. I have what sounds like a stuck lifter tapping against the cam lobe, but I could be just paranoid.

halfcent, i have no clue what u just said lol. the mechanic siad hes gonna do a check up on it in like a week or so. he said it there most likely is a small leak but he told me this when he did it. also, he said since the header is longer than the oem and my exhaust system is understrain so he needs to move it a lil n tack weld it again n a weld came out so now my exhaust shaked when i start up n makes a god awful nosie........i need a hug

I live in Iowa and there isn't much of an emissions law. The question I have is whether I should get a catback system, or 2 1/4" exhaust w/o a cat. I am worried about back pressure however
