Headers

So i have a Magnaflow catback and id like to make my exhaust tone a little beeper, so im thinking of getting an aftermarket header but i dont want to change my downpipe cause i dont want to loose power.

Would only changing the header make ANY snociable sound difference??

You're saying a stock dp would give more power than an aftermarket dp? Like lsj said you wont lose power changing out the dp.

Yes you would notice a little difference.

You might as well go with the ZZP combo for our cars. With the highflow cat. If your worried about speed on our cars, your in the wrong business. Most of us have realized we can make our 2.2s sound nice, look nice, and go quick.....but definately not FAST. You want fast go forced induction/Motor build.

Which only takes away LOW-END TORQUE... but you gain TOP-END HORSEPOWER...

That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

If you still have your stock 2.2 downpipe you won't get much HP or sound from just a header.
It's 1 7/8" with crush bends. Very Restrictive !!
Get a Header with a 2 1/4" Collector + the Stock LSJ Downpipe or fabricate custom 2 1/4" downpipe
