I have a 07 G5 and i got the ingen CAI i pulled everything off and relized that i have a extra tube that come up from the bottom of the motor to the top of the intake box, dose any1 know wat this tube connects to or wat i should do with it?

That would work fine, but there's no sense in getting it from e-Bay. Just run to Autozone or something, they should have several.

 

Are you sure it isn't coming from the Fender??? I have an 07 G5 also, and I have No SAI!

I just did the spectra "cheap" intake mod and it works great...but no SAI hose/tube.

 

That's the same with the Cobalts. Not all 07's came with SAI, but some did.

Ok good and bad news so far. Bad first if any of you guys that have SAI and want to put a CAI or a RAI those little breather filters do not work it makes the car spudder so do not was ur $ on trying that route.

Good new is that i talked to 1 of my friend from GM and he said u should be able to change cal. emissions setting. so hopefully thurs or fri i am goin to go and try it out.

Also i have the intake in my car now with no CEL i have the SAI tube off with a dust type cover for now till i can hopefully get rid of the whole system.

or you could get a K&N intake which has what you need to hook up the SAI
