Help! C.E.L. P107

Okay got a CEL on code comes up as bank 1 P107 which is the o2 sensor correct? If i toss a new one in there and erase the code is it gonna fix my head ache? Or ive also read it to be a map sensor as well throwing the whole ecm outta wack.
Any help is greatly apreciated!

Im almost positive it was just p107 i mat be wrong ill test it again. but would the map sensor reading say bank1 ? or is that just simply referring to it being upstream from the exhaust?

Nope its the stock housing but i did take that big snorkel out from the fender well to free up some air if you know what im talking about. and i bought a K&N stock filter for it but that was purchased after.

not too long after it had come on it started to run a little goofy too. It's a manual and when i release the throttle in gear or in neutral the rpm jumps up a little then falls down like the throttle body isnt closing right away.

id clean the maf first, prob has k&n oil on it, if that doesn't work, put the stock back in and see if problem persists. wipe the k&n with some paper towels also lol.

the light was on before i put the K&N in though. what that cause it to run lean? i guess if that sensor's clogged up it would make sense to think there isnt the proper ratio of air.

if it's dirty the reading can get skewed etc hit it with some cleaner and let it dry an hour

this may be a stupid question but i have to ask it.. what type of cleaner? I have some stuff at work that we use for fuel system cleanings that just gets rid of all the carbon build up. The stuff we use for the throttle body is in a spray can. So just spray some of that stuff on the MAF (off of the hose obviously) reset the code see if it comes back, If it does do the same to the MAP?

Amazon.com: CRC 05110 Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner - 11 Wt Oz.: Automotive

should have it at your local autozone, advanced, napa etc.
find out what the real code is first too lol, like i said p107 isn't a code and it COULD be either of the ones i listed so get the right info first then troubleshoot.

Did you unhook the negative battery cable and let it sit for a good half hour? Sometimes it just takes a while for the computer to reset itself.
