help with exhaust

ok so im putting my stock exhaust back on. and its cut in 2 pieces. i though about just welding it back together but its a pretty messy cut. do you guys have any sugestions on how to go about doing this?

is there like some couping i could just slide on to both sides of the cut and then clamp down? its a temporary thing not more than 6 months. and if its not perfect i could live with it.

also for welding it back together would this welder do the trick?

You probably could weld it up with that, it might just take a while, and don't forget about the gas that you will need.

Just get some flex pipe the same size and some hose clamps, cut slots in the flex pipe and crank her down like a silicone intake fitting.

that welder dosent need gas cuz it uses flux core welding rod.

but i like the flex pipe idea but i cant find a peice small enough

what do you guys think about this?

its a 50 mm and my exhaust is 1.75in ~ 45mm

do you guys think it will be able to clamp down enough. if you do this is pretty much perfect.

that may work. 5mm isn't a whole lot. but i would be more concerned about leakage. i absolutely hate exhaust leaks with a passion. my dp to catback gasket leaks when the car is still cold and it is the most annoying thing ever.

why dont you just try to smooth out the end of the exhaust and weld it together? is the cut THAT bad?
