help with intake...

Alright..i found one..
But the dilemma is..will a 06 ebay intake work on my 07. If i remember..i think the ebay thing said 06-07 2.2L
the intake themselves and engine bays look identical.

heres a link to the thread where the intake is located

I don't see why not. But it is Ebay and I do not and will not trust anything coming from Ebay. Have seen way too many threads on here about vendors on there not to buy stuff from or people getting ripped off with stuff they bought that is missing parts and what not. But it should work cause none of the engine bays are any different between years.

that's not true at all if you have sai it won't fit without somehow modifying the sai.

it'll fit. i'm positive it'll fit. u have the 90* angle for the TB, the pipe with the vacuum n MAF sensor, and the other 60* for the filter. i'll put money on it. i custom made mine, drilled out for the MAF sensor n everything, and I have no problems. I spent 100 bucks with the K&N filter compared to the 265 it used to be. I just wish i got the AEM dryflow filter instead. Oiled filters + MAF sensor = pay the extra 25 bucks for the dryflow. its better for the sensor.

Some one please explain why the ebay intake will not work with the sai? People have been putting a breather filter on the sai with no problems when having a cai.

its not that there isnt ways around it. its just that the intake its self isnt engineered to PHYSICALLY work with SAI
