AEM vs. INJEN vs. HAHN

What 1 of the 3 are good? I have the Dejon Short ram and it does not like my car at all. I am buying a new one tomorrow but I want opinions this time. I have heard AEM is the best but they dont have Black or Vic Red so there for I want either the Injen or Hahn craft, how are these running on our TC's??

I like the AEM personally for the "breather line" fitting. I do not run the intake, but if I wanted to go w/ a CIA I would do AEM. I've always liked dry filters over K&N anyways, so if I went w/ Hahn I would have to replace the K&N...which brings me to the AEM...Why not get the tubing powder coated? I cannot imagine it would cost that much to get done, would be out a few more days while you wait for it..but any color you want

Clear image auto has a short ram coming out in the very near future at a group buy price and with the trifecta tune to go with it(The tune is req'd with the SRI, but apparently not for the CAI). Just thought I'd put that out there for ya. It may already be posted somewhere, Idk tbh lol, I ordered the CAI.

Im going to be the bitch and say none yet because none are going to work properly per say. I guess be prepared for bullshit, I have contacted CP-E to make the SS some parts, but those probably wont be out for a bit because of r&d, production etc.

AEM and CIA are the only 2 that have proven not to skew the MAF (atleast not by much)

Lost over 15wtq across the whole power band and made 5whp peak (but lost hp down-low).

Stock airbox w/ drop-in K&N has been good enough for me.

Here Terminator2 posted these in the other thread:

Injen -7 to -8 LTFT as tested by Tofu

The MAF is so sensitive on this car that removing the filter from the factory airbox will cause -8 LTFTs compared to -1 to -2 normally.

yeah I think this may be the best option for now. I was actually asking the GMPP engineer bill to have him ship me his Id make him sign it for me hahaha

i am very pleased with injen intake and pipes. everyone seems to have been having problems. i put them on and had no problems ever since. the amsoil filter has the best breathing and power of any filter. the injen did not make any lack in power for me. since ive put it in, ive had massive wheelspin due to so much torque.

How about a junk yard?... heck, there are members on here right now that are parting out their cars and would probably make you a deal on one... definately less than $300, that's for sure.

Edit: Come to think of it, everybody on this forum with an intake is a possible seller, since you have to remove the box to put the aftermarket intake on, and many probably have it just sitting around now.
