how restrictive is the resonator?

howdy.

so im putting a 2.25 inch full exhaust on my car with a magnaflow high-flow cat. and i was just wondering...how restrictive is the stock resonator? i have a flowmaster muffler on there right now and i was hoping to not have my exhaust too much louder. so, i was thinking about leaving the resonator on. any thoughts?

i also read that most people prefer them, but i dont wanna lose to much power...

P.S. its actually for my saturn LS1 2.2 ecotec. exhaust is gonna be custom.

maybe you can use someone's stock SS resonator. I'm sure it flows more than your stock one

go in the classified thread, and Post:

"WTB: Stock SS resonator"

^^^ Then see if someone has it, you might get lucky.

It's a shame i didn't keep my stock exhaust... but it was dirty, and I didn't want to bring it back home in the car
