Oh geez. I'll agree you can't accurately predict. But an Injen CAI gives you 7 WHP and Corsa Catback gives 7 WHP. You could just add from there I guess

what the heck would you consider "full bolt-on," that term has never made sense to me considering you bolt on so many parts of a car

yeah, it is kinda hard to estimate, i would guess 15-25hp increase, and probally 10-20 ft lbs from what ever the baseline is. i am sure if you do a seach, you might find one of the 2.2 guys dyno with bolt ons. or have you tried??

Jackalope: thats a pretty good time, did you have anything else? DR? it is possible but probally very hard to do. maybe driver mod stage 6?? haha, good time though my bro used to have a 03 cavy 2.2 w/ only an intake, it was pretty impressive for a N/A 4 banger, i dont think it was in the 14s though, maybe mid-high 15s

Thanks. And no that was on the stock 15' BFG's dropped to 15lbs front rears aired up to
45lbs. The car was a 5spd and I'd launch it around 2 grand so that probly helped out.

i say full bolt-ons would be a turbo, which is gonna be out here in about a week =P And the gains/price ratio is much better =P

Turbo isn't considered a "bolt on" modification. "Bolt ons" refer to more or less basic modifications; I/H/E.

yeah, "bolt ons" are BASIC mods, not turbos or nitrous, yes those do bolt on, but its not a basic bolt on, turbos and nitrous also require you to drill and tap, turbo oil lines and the nitrous and fuel lines.

this is exactly my point, there is no general consensous (sp? sorry its early) on what full bolt ons is so it makes no sense to say that. how much harder is it to ask how much an intake and full exhaust will improve your car

yea i agree with hatrickstu. no 2 cars are going to respomd the same when it comes to "bolt ons" for example like i said before i have a injen cai and a custom 2.25 exhaust system on my 07 LS. where as my friend has a AEM cai and a DCsport exhaust on his 06 and my car appearantly outruns his. also doesnt help the fact that mine is a stick and his is a automatic. but yea theres to many factors

bolt ons=

pullies, exhaust, intake, tune, headers, intake manifold, etc. etc. really anything that isn't changing anything valvetrain wise (heads/cams) and not forced induction could be considered a bolt on.

common defenition will be full exhaust, intake, maybe throttle body, tune, short throw (stick)
