HP Tuners for 07's LS/LT models....
I posted up a question on the HPTUNERS forum and got a reply, basically I asked said I had an 08 Chevy Equinox and my wife(well.......me) had a cobalt, and I had bout 4 credits for the chevy equinox, since they have the same pcm, could I transfer the other 2 to the cobalt with the e37 pcm since its the same pcm?
this is his reply in the forums
"We don't yet support the E37."
so I'm guessing the 07 PCM's with the e37 are going to be cracked by hptuners, then we'll have the same abilities as the ss/sc

HPT has been "yet" to support the '07 2.2 ECM since it came out, this was supposed to be "the one", but here we are, still waiting. Currently AEM is the only Fuel/Ignition controller available
um no... the 2.4 has VVT... and the 2.2 has no way of putting a tune on. or messing with the stock tune. sorry. it took them along time to crack the LNF PCM.. and that was cause of demand( a high one).. i honestly doubt there's demand for the cracking of the 2.2 PCM... isnt there another form of PCM managment? like an AEM controller or somthing???
If they've already cracked the PCM, it wouldn't be a big deal to change the parameters of the program to the cobalt. If you think about it in a logical sense.....they would just have to upload the new limitations from the pcm and wam-bam....new tuning material right there.
Chevy Equinox Sport
not the base model, base equinox has no support either
whenever they make different pcm's for different classes of one model of car, usually the 'base' platform gets stiffed

How realistic do you think it would be to swap a 2.4 auto ecm/wiring harness out to a 2.2 auto. Granted you'd have to return the ecm to work right on a 2.2 (no VVT etc), you think it could work?
He's right, unfortunately, its a close match, but the differences are too big to be overcome - at least at this moment...as for now, the 2.4L has the e67 pcm, which I will look at the pin diagrams tonight and see if it is exactly the same, if its not i'll post the wire scheme thats different

I realize that this is by no means a direct swap, but I am thinking of making this into a summer project for myself. See the thread I posted in tuning https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/tuning-131/2-4-ecm-swap-93890/
Are the connectors for the E37, E67, and E16a physically the same? I'm not asking if it'll work out of the box but will the 3 ecm's physically interchange with one another?
SWEETNESS, does this mean I don't have to waste 2 credits to maybe tune my cobalt2.2??????????? Ask him how he did it, did he use the Equinox Sport and just tweaked the values or what?????????????????
