Hydrolocked?.. Or something..
think it about it this way on all cars that have the stock air box when they are on the highway they are also sucking in water 2....if u are running a cold air intake setup up the water has 2 fully cover the cone of the intake 2 hydrolock...in my srt-4 i had a cold air intake and ran that **** for the till 44,000 by change cones when neeed ..went around puddles and stuff 2 avoid
I've had the same problem...water got onto the MAF. I've been looking inot the hydroshield but havent been able to find much information in regards to a water check valve...any info would be appreciated.
You won't hydrolock in a drizzle.
OP - you have water in your MAF. Clean it and get a hydroshield. If you're running the AEM Dryflow filter - trash it.
