i did the intake mod and got a couple??s

whats up all, i did the intake mod today, but my car feels a bit laggy now and not as fast, makes hella noise that i like. should i reset the ecm? and will the k&n drop-in filter help with this if the laggy dont quit? and should i cut off all the air bubble thingies off the tube that slid iinside the fender well of the car and slide it back in and connect the tube back on the air box? any help would be aprreicated. i am just trying to get by until the funds come in for the cold air intake. i think i am going for the injen, and a borla hush exausht system. any help and comments is aprecciated.

after the mod u need to reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery for like 15 minutes then running the car for about 50 miles to fully calibrate the computer then it should run better since this is what we did on the cobalt ls and what i plan to do to the cobalt ss 2.4

The K and N filter will actualy get rid of all thay anoying hissing and gives the car a nice normal sound. After i droped the k and n in I had to reced my ecm by disconecting the battery for a bit, but after that it was running great.

my buddy gave me his intake tube from his zx3 focus, could i attach it to the airbox and slide it in the hole so i will suck the cold air from the fender instead of being right beside the motor? and is the borla system any good?

you can't just connect the tubing to the airbox because the maf is built into the stock piping.
