IAT / MAF sensor wiring on GM L61 SC kit

From the GM manual it is not clear to me how the original 2,2's IAT & MAF sensor are rewired for the SC's TMAF sensor.
I read that the 3 MAF wires are replaced in a new 3pin connector and the 2 IAT wires are rewired to a new 2 pin connector. But the LSJ TMAF has a 5pin connector.
Is there a small additional loom supplied in the SC kit which connects the TMAF with those 2 connectors? (part nr. 12590818, wire harness?)

Thxs.

You are comparing the LSJ engine TMAF with the one that is supplied in the J-body L61 upgrade kit. They are not the same thing.

OK,

Question remains; Is there an extra wiring harness to connect those two connectors to this new TMAF sensor?
What is the difference between the upgrade kit TMAF and the LSJ's TMAF??

Okay, I have gone back and read the supercharger installation instructions in the Build Book. A couple of things.

First, this kit is NOT the same thing as an LSJ installation. The physical M62 supercharger is the same, but the sensors and supporting hardware (like the cable throttle) are not the same. The TMAF on the kit is a 4 pin connector, while as you state, the LSJ has a 5 pin.

Second, those instructions are for installation on a J-body car. Not a Cobalt. So I can't even be sure that the Delta cars have the same IAT and MAF harnesses that the build book describes.

The part that you reference above (12590818) is in fact a separate harness used as an adapter between the superchargers TMAF and the cars IAT and MAF sensors. But still, that won't do you any good here.

What are you trying to do exactly? Are you attempting to install the GM performance supercharger kit on a Delta model car? Or what?

Well...
Actually I'm installing an LSJ supercharger on an European Z22SE 2,2 Ecotec engine... In a RWD, rear engined 850kg Lotus Elise clone.
The thing is that a conversion kit sold here in Europe does not utilize an IAT sensor in the inlet manifold. Only a 3pin MAF sensor there and the original 2,2's IAT sensor is still positioned before the SC. Which in my opinion is not that smart to do on a FI engine...

Therefore I try to find out what GM did with the MAF & IAT their 2,2 converion kit.

All I can tell you I know from the GM Build Book, so you might find that helpful to read yourself instead of me trying to fill you in over a web board. Do you have it?

I have the LSJ build books, and the SC conversion manual from: http://paceperformance.com/paceperfo...rgermanual.pdf
But this IAT + MAF part is a bit unclear, so maybe anybody here in the L61 section knows more.
(But then I do know that this kit is not intended for the wire throttle ECM of the L61 Cobalt...)

What are you using for an ECM? That will determine what kind of IAT, MAF, MAP, or any other kind of sensor you want to use more then the engine itself.

It's a European GM E15 we have here on the Z22SE Ecotec engine. (or E16 if the US uses the 15? I always forget.)

This ECU is only recently cracked by some tuners over here. But as I said, they do not use any IAT sensor in the inlet manifold on their SC conversions. So I'm just trying to find out what GM itself did with the TMAF on their 2,2 SC kits. With this I then can "negotiate with the tuners" here to improve things.

No E15 here in the states. We do have the E16a. And the only people I know of that can tune that is Trifecta.
