JBP Performance header

Has anyone put on one of these oddball vortex designed headers on their 2.2?

http://www.jbodyperformance.com/new/...catName=JP0927

They give some big claims on horsepower gains with their exhaust/ header combo, over 30hp.

I am tempted to get one of these.
But, why would someone put on a 3 inch exhaust onto a 2.2?

Is this for the 2.0 only or is the header good for the 2.2 and 2.0 but the exhaust is meant for the 2.0, or what???

its made for both engines, the stock ss/sc manifold is a good upgrade for the 2.2 from 2005-2006, the 2007 came with the same exhaust manifold. unless you have SAI. it would be a good upgrade for a 2.2 if you were planning on supercharging it

I seriously considered it, but then I woke up and realized I was poor and had a 2.2. The 1 7/8" primaries are way too big for an N/A 2.2. You're going to have zero low end torque.

the header makes the car sound like a boxer engine but that is because the way the flow of primaries are layed out..

its layed out wrong if you ask me but a great piece of welding there non the less

dont go 3 inch unless upushing 250+whp...2.5 is the max you should go, get urself a nice header/dp and a 2.25/2.5 exhaust, depends on what you want...i recommend a full vibrant set up, vibrant header/dp with vibrant exhaust

How was fitment? has it burnt any of the sound deadening on the firewall? I want one for my redline but I'm scared it's going to be to close to the firewall.

I had to cut away at some of the firewall material. aside from that it fits and theres room to spare.
