iat reads -40f. Need Advice

my lt/sc can't get tuned correctly until this is fixed. There is no shorts to ground anywhere and it is wired up correctly. i checked it 10 times. I just put in a new 2.5 map sensor because we thought that was the problem. still no dice. I am unsure of what to do next. Any advice on further troubleshooting and/or your own experiences with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

If I can't fix this, it may be the end of having a supercharger on my car so I could really use some guidance.

IAT comes from the MAF unless I'm mistaken on the 2.2's. It could be a short or open for the temperature signal.

yeah it does come from the maf. Pretty sure there are no shorts or opens but I am going to re-do all the wiring just to make sure. I'm familiar with the probable causes but wanted to see if anyone had additional input, since it may be something a bit more complicated to fix.

Are you watching with the HPT scanner I assume? If there's an open circuit relating to the MAF, you can just unplug it and see if there is any change on the scanner. If the temperature reading still reads -40, then there is an open circuit. I don't remember for sure if the temperature reads the maximum value or the minimum when there's an open, but it should be easy enough to figure out. I do know the MAF frequency will read the maximum value with an open circuit.

That or check the circuit with a meter. I hope you have the service manual or at least some circuit diagrams, since I assume you are modifying the factory wiring.

Don't you have to move the IAT wire from the MAF to the MAP when running a 2.5 bar MAP?

That's the real question. I wasn't aware of what's involved with setting up a L61 for boost. It seems a little weird to me to move the temperature signal around, but it seems like there is definitely a fault relating to that.
