just do the math, next time you fill up reset a trip guage, then when you fuel after that take the # of gallons you put in and divide the miles on the trip by the gallons. I suppose its possible i got 37.7MPG on a 620mi trip all highway avg mph was like 65

I get 650 km's to the tank if I drive normally.

So that translates to around 37MPG (I think)

it's very possible... here in north jersey it's very hilly, so i can coast almost as much as i step on the gas... it's very good for gas mileage... i've had my car up to about 60 mpg for a 25 mile drive once...

not if you're hamming on it all the time, then it's like 10 MPG

On long trips, I get 37-39 on my baseline. So, I don't think your numbers could be too far off.

The fuel economy display on the DIC is actually really accurate for as many times as I've compared fuel used/miles to the meter. Its usually only off by .3 mpg if I reset it with each fill.

In a 2.2 it's DEFINITELY possible!!!!! Especially if it's a manual. I've gotten just over 40 MPG (40.4 on the DIC, 40.3 and change on a real-world calculator) in my SS/SC with quasi-highway driving (mostly 2 lane with some red lights here and there).

I've topped out at 46.5 MPG on the highway.. I set my cruise control to 55 and just let her ride out for a few minutes.. I've found the best thing to do if you're trying to test it is reset the reader (hold down the button next to the toggle button for a few seconds). If you don't reset it then you're averaging out your gas mileage since the last time you've reset it... If you're averaging out a couple of hundred miles (if not thousands) it can take a reallllly long time to even see a minute change.

Yeah, it's really not hard to get *legitimate* good mileage in the SS/SCs. I reset mine by the tank as well and like I said, I see about 40 with quasi-highway driving and about 38 with a good 50/50 mix of city and highway. It's all in how you drive it I think.
