Injen CAI On its Way...

I'm pretty damn excited for it, but I do have a quick question (surprise surprise): How hard is the install? I've searched around, and people say it's been pretty easy and that the Injen instructions are very detailed, but the only 'How-to' that I found was for the 2.0L. If the installation is comparable to my 2.2L, then I shouldn't have any troubles. Any details would be appreciated.

I installed mine on my own, and it took me longer than expected. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine. I had a few rough spots (that bolt where you put the stopper.....you'll see) and I took breaks every 15 minutes (was hot outside when I was installing).

All in all, it should be easy. If you do the CAI, take off the wheel and wheel well, a lot easier (at least for me!)

ditto...too hot and smokin cigs.....removing the wheel and well is far easier than the instructions....took about an hour for me but it's pretty damn easy just secure all the fittings real well and check for rubbing/tapping of the assembly...i used high heat foam as padding in the intakes drop hole

Yeah the bolt that needs to be removed for the vibramount requires a torx or something silly, glad my dad had one in his shop. The instructions don't mention it so that was a bit of a curveball. Other than that it was pretty smooth.

The installation was a breeze, thanks to the help of my father, mickeyvb. I am very happy with my purchase. Even though everyone knows what it looks like, here are a few pics. Would anyone be interested in a video w/sound? Let me know and I'll edit something together...
