Installing flowmaster muffler...yourself

is it possible to just cut the stock muffler and clamp the new muffler myself? just a quick question and what else would i need to do

I dont see why its not possible, But odds are its not gonna line up right and you gonna be fighting to get the tip in a good spot.

i did it with a magnaflow 2inch in muffler, it was easy all you need to do is get an adapter with 1.75in. ID and 2.25in. ID(the magnaflow i bought has 2in. ID and so a 2/18in. ID doesnt fit over it, the 2.25 is a bit loose but it welds on just fine)i would suggest putting a magnaflow muffler on instead of a flowmaster, flowmaster sounds like crap on our cars and you can pick up a universal magnaflow one for like $80 and it sounds pretty sweet

I am running a Magnaflow Street Series muffler sounds good...... LOUD but I'm also running 3" so everything is loud at that point!
