intake manifold material

i was wondering wat the intake manifold is made of. i got an idea from a friend to port it but we dont know if the cheap POS is plastic or wat

i got a 2.4 manifold lol, i wasnt gonna port it for me, i got a friend wit a cavy and we was talkin about portin it for him possibly
