Intake Size

Does anyone know the tubing size of an aftermarket intake?

Usually 3 inch to the throttle body.

anything between 2.5" and 3" and you should be fine. just make sure you have a way to include the maf in your custom intake.

Actually most use 2 1/2" alluminum tubing...some companies go with a 3".

The injen flares to maybe 3" at the filter but the majority of the piping is less than 3". I have a gen 1 injen pipe at home I will measure it later today.

JBP and Fujita (I believe) are the only true 3" intakes that I know of.

I didnt realize this is in the 2.2L forum... oops sorry

For those who care the 2.0 Injen is 2.75" where the pipe meets the filter, then it reduces to what I'm assuming is 2.5"
