I would do it in a heartbeat now. But at the time I was more concerned about having spare time to party.
this is so me lol
my undergrad I was zero involvement. I mean I still made good grades, graduation with a 3.8 and now my graduate program I am super interested in learning as much as possible and making good grades again.
Went to my local SCCA groups "Octoberfast" even where they setup the course for speed. Hit 85mph on some runs. Not much technical but was still a ton of fun.
Haven't done much in a while but recently switched over to control my methanol injection PWM signal with the AEM Infinity. This involves using a "lowside switch" output from the AEM which triggers a Hella solid state relay to handle the electrical load of the water/methanol pump.
The water/methanol pump is now grounded and receives positive on/off pulses from the solid state relay which has to be supplied power from another relay that only gives it power when the key is on. If I don't do this my AEM and the relay decide to turn the injection pump full on when I turn the key off. I've also installed a flyback diode which other water/methanol injection controllers include integrated based on what little I could find online.
I currently have the AEM set up generate a 250hz PWM signal and basically have the duty cycle for injection start at 25%. The pump doesn't like lower "voltages" than that. The injection duty cycle is driven from a combination of throttle position and boost pressure. This way if I hammer on it I can have the injection start before boost pressure is even generated.
Any idea what size the barb fitting is in that MAP sensor hole?
Whoa, sneak attack from an old member! Unfortunately, I feel like I haven't seen JD post in like 6 months or more.
I put a barb in the MAP sensor hole of my LK9 manifold... I can check and/or try to remember what size mine was. I want to say I needed to thread it with 1/4" NPT... and that the barb was 3/8". But I can double check on that.

yeah back from the dead. Thanks for the info, bought a couple on my own to try and it is indeed 1/4" npt to 3/8" barb
