Unhappy jet module problems

my stage 2 module is trying to engage my clutch and im wondering if anyone else is having this problem. do i need tuning or a tech 2 program to trouble shoot this problem. i installed it on a rental car and it worked but in my car no dice.

um that makes no since how this piggy back type computer modification would in some way mess with a hydrolic clutch system

im trying to think of what electronic things would be on that system but i think its a very mechanical system

How can the car jerk forward when the clutch is disengaged? Something is fishy.

the chip works wicked when it is workin but im going to reinstall today after work to refreash my memory but it could also be somthing with the idle because it goes from 500rpm to almost zero then jumps up to2500 then wile comin down the car stalls.

my dash had the silver ss inserts in it when i bought it and w/out mods went like hell

your engine is dying or something. It is IMPOSSIBLE for you PCM/ECM to command your clutch to engage. Possible leaking slave cylinder?

impossible for a PCM to do this... absolutely. If the PCM (or TCM) is commanding any type of gear engagement or changes then you are driving an automatic lol!

that is a bad slave cylinder, most likely.

whats happeneing is, when the RPM goes up, it can't hold the spring in,a nd the clutch is engaging.

mine is also bad, and it rides fine under 3000 rpm, once it goes up, can't shift.

odd that RPM's affect you gear changes. With a leaky slave the only thing that shiould affect anything at all would be amount of time clutch pedal is held down. The slave fails due to fluid leaking/bleeding past a seal so the longer the pedal is held down, the more fluid is leaked. RPM's "should" not affect that really but i may be wrong >.<

well, you're right, i guess leaking isn't the right word.

long story short, it's a shitty aftermarket cylinder that came with my clutch kit. it's the only part that wasn't replaced after it started acting up.

OHHHH lol i didnt get at what you were saying. Totally skipped past that whole "out of gear" thing. Aside from poor cable adjustment (possible shifter replacement?) that is impossible good catch man

that's a good point, or perhaps something is damaged in the shift assembly on the trans.

Yah. Only way you canbe sure of anything is to remove so called "Jet chip" and see if problem persists. If you remove part and the symptom is gone its pretty safe to say this chip is garbage

my engine is fine , my dash had a ss badge on it and the chip is working better gm mechanic says i need to do somemore tuning because my computer has a funny glitch and it has to be programmed out because he says its trying to think like an automatic. if this does nothing its going back to jet.

How can your car think its an auto? Its still impossible for it to engage your clutch.
