JET Stage 2 Module

For those of you that saw it in the classified section, I purchased the JET Stage 2 Performance Module for my 08 2.2. Put it in, and my car feels a lot better than it did. It pulls hard in any gear and pulls right up from 60 in 5th gear. Definitely a good purchase.

thats amazing! i considered buying that module but considering all the contraversy and the fact he was a new member and all i didnt. glad to hear it works perfectly. is there someway you can take it on a dyno and prove what kinda of numbers it gives as this is something i am going to be very interested in down the road? Also what mods are you running performance wise your sig doesn't list any.

Unfortunately the guy that I would have taken it to for the dyno had a fire in his shop a couple weeks ago, so I cant get that for you guys. As far as performance stuff, this is the only mod I have done to the car.

the jet stage 2 chip is designed for a car modded with high flow exhaust and cooler thermostat, also a more breathable intake, once you get those your car should really wake up

I contacted Jet myself to get some info in the Module...On the stage 1 chip they claim that there is a 12WHP and 14ft LB of torque. for the 2.4 ectoecs. thats pretty good numbers... Keep us posted on how the stage 2 is working out for ya..

The car runs strong no weezing like it does without it and i am very happy with the power it will chirp and wheel hop second to giv eyou an idea of the tourque increase that never happend without it even with the other mods.

The comment about the 180 thermostat on the Jet Chipwebsite is a generic statement for all cars. The Cobalt is equiped with a 180 thermostat. Most cars come with a 192 degree thermostat so a 180 ts would make those engines run cooler by 12 degrees.

it'll probably flip out on you big time! SAI means that fresh air is added to the exhaust as of now there are no aftermarket headers that are SAI compatible. i wouldn't even consider that if i was u for the time being. if in fact you do want a header you are going to need something other than a jet chip. there are tuning options available with trifecta that can do an SAI delete maybe you should look into something like that ?
