just installed a jdm cai

i just installed a new jdm cold air intake system on my 2.2 ls. i started it up and let it run for a couple minutes. then i shut it off. sounds fine when its running. then when i shut it off it makes a "fart" noise. is that normal? i did everything i was supposed to do so i think maybe its just a release of the left over air that is in there from when the car is running? plz help. iwill get pics soon if anyone helping wants them. thanks

i never understood why they made 'jdm' parts for a domesic car. That fact alone tells you two things: its cheap and it is not jdm lol.

mine makes a sound like the throttle body closing fast or something.

but i have a USDM intake.

also i think the reason no one noticed it before we got intakes was because that big piece of plastic that was on the stock intake that went over the TB was like a resonator.

mine sounds more like a small thud. everytime i shut it off.
