I originally got the one with the blue fittings (also known as the TRADITIONAL series). Now I'm pissed because I ordered it from Racinglab.com and they just sent me an email saying my order was cancelled because "the item is out of stock and discontinued." So now I had to settle for the Weapon R 18 oz. tank. ******....

is it worth it for a fully bolt 2.2?

or would it just complicate things?

just about all cars will vent a little oil into the intake path via the PCV, so, it does keep the intake tract cleaner, however, IMO, on a stock car, it's not that big of a deal... now, on a car that's going to be raced, or is making big big power, it can be a benefit...

basically, i don't think that it's needed on a street car of sane power levels, but, it can't hurt.

That will be my path in a few days here.

They all do the same thing; I'm not about to spend over $100 on a ******* pop can with rubber hoses.

I have one on my 2.2, doesn't seem to have caught alot in the past 6 months plus. On my other car I handmade one from pvc pipe and it catches more oil, maybe because its an older car.

fo sho! bought it when my SS/SC took a ****, good ol' piston #4.

they actually have catch cans that people use for their compressors that sit in-line with the crank case hose that work perfect. u can get them at home depot for $10 i believe.

Made one for my buddy's srt4 out of a 2 litre soda bottle. Aside from looks I dont see why people spend more than $5 on these things, not doggin them, just dont get it.
