K&N Help...

I have an 07 SS. I bought this k&n filter:
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=69-4515TS

Did I buy the wrong filter? I am trying to install this and it just does not seem like its the right angles.. can anyone send me a pic or 2 of IF I have the right filter? If not, which filter do I need.

thanks... my bolt is all apart.. what a way to spend easter.

On the K&N website. That product number shows for a 2.2L.

Your profile says you have an 07 SS what are the 4th and 5th digits of your VIN?

AL=LS
AK=LT
AM=SS/NA
AP=SS/SC

don't hold a flame to this statement but i'm almost dead positive the 2.4 and the 2.2 have the same airbox. lol. so it doesn't matter if he says "ss" or not. it's the same box. so same filter.

now as for the LSJ we all know it's not the same. but 2.4 and 2.2 use the same filter.

now as for the link that you have put up that doesn't work btw. but i can see it says product 69-4515TS which is the short ram intake for the 2.2 ONLY.

please clarify what exactly you bought, a FILTER or an INTAKE. if you do infact have a 2.4 that INTAKE will not fit. but if you have a 2.2 then it will fit and you're just not doing it right.

AP is what my vin says.
I bought that exact item I linked to, so the entire intake. Looking at the 2.0 intake that k&n and injen sell, they look like they would fit perfectly. (knowing what I know now...)

2.2s and 2.4s have the same airbox so if u just got the k&n drop in filter you re just not putting it in right
now the k&n intake for the 2.4 works on a 2.2 so im guessing that the one for the 2.2 fits on a 2.4
tell us if u just got a filter or a short ram intake

if u got an ss/sc then the filters from a 2.2 or 2.4 dont work because ss/sc's have a different airbox

okay. first of all. who told you to buy the 69-4515TS cause whoever told you to buy that for a SUPERCHARGED is ******* retarded. and how can you say that they would look like they'd fit perfectly 2.0 SC has the intake DRIVER side and cold air location STOCK. 2.2 and 2.4 both have the airbox mounted on the passenger's side. so what model do you have. cause you're just confusing the hell out of us. the 69-4515TS is an intake for the 2.2 not a supercharged.

please clarify. if you have a supercharger mounted on your intake manifold you don't have a 2.2 or 2.4. and the intake will not work.

look under your hood, look at your owner's manual.

i just hope that you're not trying to put a short ram intake on a supercharger.
