L61 Fuel Rail Question

While installing my oil pressure sensor for my oil gauge I looked over my fuel line and fuel rail as I have a nitrous wet kit(pieced together).

My fuel line with a 4AN fitting fits PERFECTLY on the fitting located on the fuel rail as pictured below.

The fitting has a schrader(sp?) valve located just like a tire valve. Also pictured below.

My questions are...our factory fuel pump. Is it able to pump enough fuel to supply fuel to my fuel solenoid and the injectors on the other end. The schrader valve should be able to be removed as you would remove a tire schrader vavle when you dismount the tires.

Running a 55-60 shot would I be fine with the setup as it is? And if I move up to a 75 shot would it be overkill to put in a aftermarket pump and fuel pressure regulator?

Sorry for the newb questions...I tried to eliminate on the ones I would be able to figure out on my own. This is my first car with a 2.2 ECOTEC and I'm not sure about how the fuel system works and all on these motors. I don't have access to the FSM either so I'm SOL on that.

Thanks for any replies.

AN fittings use a flare to create the seal. While the thread gauge will match up, you won't get any sealing. You can however get an adapter, AN flare to compression fit.

I don't know about the fuel pump output to answer the other question. I would simply suggest an in-line fuel pump boost pump, but with out returnless fuel system, I don't know what effect that would have.
