Lets talk 2.2 sonoma performance.

Ok well the performance is low on my 97 sonoma with 94k. So Im gonna start with a exhaust kit, and a CAI. I have located this site. Has anyone built a 2.2 s10 or sonoma?

i ordered my ceamic coated header from there for my 2.2 s10.fitment was a little off but still worked and sounded great.i had intake header downpipe hf cat and flowmaster and it helped big time

if your looking for a little more power and better mileage than what i did was perfect.if your looking for alot of power then yes,def. swap the engine.

ya me too.i have 2 brackets that didnt come with it were shipped today and should have them friday(which i should be out by then)then i have to order the H/E and get misc bolts then do work.also have a new fender and ssna bumper getting painted too.were you looking at it too?

there was another balt guy looking at the sc i got but i got it first.and no nothing fked up i still have the turbo stuff in my garage which is for sale.i just want whine and got the sc stuff for a stupid low price

i paid 300 for everything minus the lower intake manifold braket and tensioner bracket.got extra pars like lsj coils,oil cooler,and cam sensor that ill sale.turbo stuff,600 obo

Itll be stock pulley,intake,and my current mods which is ported lsj exhaust mani catless dp and full exhaust.also have solid trans mounts.
its a ebay kit i was gonna tinker with.saw a astro van with the same kit do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds stock motor.

casting numbers on the turbo lead back to turbonetics.plus the shop i saw use this turbo beat the living f*** out of it and t held up fine.it ws just gna be for low boost.i just want a quick street car,not a race car.thats why im not gonna pulley down.

any motor has potential,just some more than others.most of your powers in the head.Pull it off and port it with some boost and you'd have a quick truck but im with you,if i was lookng for alot more power then id swap motors

you're an idiot. Were talking about an S10, not a cobalt. Thus we're not talking about an ecotec, and ZZP doesnt make a blower kit for non-ecotec I4s.

as i initially said, unless you're planning boost for the motor, then dont bother. Swap motors.

i used to have a 2.2 sonoma.....it had k&n intake, flow master custom exhaust, ngk plugs as far as performance went..... mine was an auto and slow as f*** with the mods! did i say slow as f***, we if i didnt it was slow as f*** lol if your lookin for power to the ground the only thing you can do is a v8 swap
