looking into turboing l61

well i have an 07 ls and now that im pretty much done with visuals i want boost. i want to go turbo unless anyone can convince me other wise. i just love that BOV sound.. hah.. but anyways.. i need a list of parts i will need. and an estimate.. if i slowely collect these parts used off of here. thanks in advance.

My turbo kit is custom but i bought it like that. I should have just bought the zzp kit, its better and WAY less problems

you don't really do a custom piece by piece turbo set up, thats more for the supercharged way

NJHK is a good resource for builds, he knows his stuff and can point you in the right direction, i think he has some turbo build starting threads, not sure what forums they're on but he has them

Yes, its a good idea less intake piping to run, and it should be less restrictive than going through an intercooler. But also costs more than an intercooler and is another part to break and/or fail
