Question LS4 TB vs. LSJ TB for 2.2 supercharged

So the s/c kit I am buying has a M62 supercharger ported to accept a ported LS4 throttle body.

Two questions:

1. Should I look for a LSJ TB and resale the LS4?
2. If I swap TB's with an LSJ, then should I look at getting a different blower because the one I have is ported to accept the LS4 TB?

The car I am s/c is my daily (in my sig) and would like the ride the be as smooth as can be. I've heard that the LS4 can make the ride really rough. Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated.

responsive from what I understand makes a world of difference. On the M62 I would recommend using the LSJ bust if your setup for the LS4 I say go for it. Just remember you will have to get retuned for it.

He's supercharging his 2.2L, so that shouldn't be an issue

With the LS4, you tend to give up a little bit of smoothness at idle for a quicker throttle response. You don't gain much hp over the LSJ if that's all you're concerned about (but hp isn't everything )

my main concern is the roughness of the LS4.

Not worth it. LS4 isn't even used by the guys with the biggest power. Isn't needed. I drove one on my M62 for about 1.5 years and it's super touchy but doable. Too touchy and not worth it on the TVS.

both...the responsiveness makes it jerky in the lower speeds when you arent trying to go fast...which is why i offered to trade you...i have been looking for a LS4, and if you want smooth as can be you want the LSJ...i dont think i have seen another 2.2 with the ls4 though...like i said in my other post lmk if you wanna trade...i have no reason to get a ls4, but than again i have no reason not too
