Lsj Downpipe Question

Does anyone know if the Lsj downpipe fits onto a 07 2.2 without mods. I know that the lsj pipe fits on an 06, just wondering if anyone has put one on a 2007. Thanks.

so you have the secondary air injection(SAI)? if so, than no, but if you dont that it shoudl bolt right up, seeing as how u alreay have the lsj header...wait...lsj's dont have SAI, and the 07's come stock w/the lsj header...so it shoudl work...unless someone wants to chime in...

The stock downpipe has a sensor right after the headers, but the ss downpipe doesnt, and im kinda pissed, cause i waited like 2 weeks to get it. I really hope it works, but i dunno.

07 have the same header as the LSJ except you will prob have SAI. SAI will have no affect on if you can attach a downpipe, it only limits your options for headers.

So what I am saying is... hook that puppy up, its a direct bolt on.

some of the 07's have 2 cats on the downpipe, as well as 2 o2 sensors instead of one. so, will it fit? yes, fitment should not be a problem. you'll have to do one of 2 things with the 2nd 02 sensor though:

1) Weld a bung for it
2) eliminate it entirely.

i know for a fact that fitment/installation is possible, because i know someone that has done it.

Thats right... you had two cats on your 2.2 right Kev? Cuz I know I only have 1 so I'm not gonna have that problem.

forgot some of the SAI DP's have 2 O2 sensors (wow too many abbreviations) so glad i flashed mine out.

yea, i had 2. and damn, that bitch was HEAVY!!

i THINK only the 07's have 2 o2 sensore on the dp though, guessing because of the sai. i found this out from looking at a g5. no one had heard of it at that point, so i would say it's safe to assume that it's only n the 07's with sai

the tube would be ON your airbox. not next to it. and if you have any tube where the filter goes then that means you have it.

so, to answer your question, it should fit perfectly.

ok. then in that case, fitment will be fine, you just have to get a bung welded in for the 02 sensor to have a home. if it's not in it's home, it gets a little cranky
