2.4 intake manifold or a new downpipe. but if you want to a lot faster youve got to spend some money on a turbo or superchager.

are you auto or man. ?

you can go N2O but get the 2.4 manifold to better handle the stress. build your internals, better flowing DP

or go forced induction.... turbo or SC

I say go with a downpipe for now, unless you want to start digging deep ie turbo. (In which case you would have to ditch the CAI and header anyways)

My girlfriend drives a 2.2l, right now i put a lot of parts in my ss/sc and shes mad cus i didn't help her get some parts and make that car quicker.

I have some plans, but i really need some advice, if someone who actually knows what they are talking about when it comes to a 2.2l can pm me that would be great. I need mega advice. Thanks guys.

How does the tuning work for these 2.2's???
What turbo kit is worth the money??
SC kit... Which one?? Good Results??

N2o is really your only option for speed right now unless you want to fork out the $$$ for standalone or put your cars life in the hands of the smt-7...not something Im willing to do.

you aren't going to go "fast" in a 2.2 without FI period

unless you gut the car, and build a high compression, high RPM N/A motor

the easiest and cheapest thing to do will be to do basic bolt ons and a 75 shot of nitrous...will net you a 14 sec. car and atleast be as fast or a little bit quicker than a stock SS/SC.

agreed...

your best bet is to get a catless down pipe... and a zex wet kit... you will **** your self when you see the difference

Hopefully HP Tuners will have the tuning soon.
With the current mods done, a tuning to the computer should get you another 15-20hp.
Tuning from a shop can cost $200-$300, but it is the best bang for the buck if you already did all the bolt-ons.

pistons and rods you could do. Take it easy if you want to increase the compression. I wouldn't really recconmend cams... as we can't tune for them and doing the head wouldn't get you hardly anywhere without better cams...

Simple, get the Garret Alpha kit 200 whp and you have a tune from SCT. Otherwise you are just stuk with basic bolt on's due to the lack of tuning or running a N2o system.
