I have an SS/SC manifold and I was wondering if I could use my old manifold gasket or should i get a new one?

 

...........I ASSUME you mean EXHAUST manifold? It is always better to get a new one. Crate Engine Depot

 

goto the dealership...i picked mine up for like 12 bucks

 

would gasket paper work? They sold a roll when i drove a moped and we used to all chip in and trace gaskets for cheap....but it was a moped

 

if it's for the exhaust manifold....no...it would incinerate. the temperatures are just too high there to support the paper style gasket...it would have to be either copper (stock) or stainless steel double layer style.
