Hey just thought id let you guys know that the mandrelexhaustsystems.com exhaust is amazing. i ordered one an for 2.5 stainless and borla muffler it was 360 shipped.

The sound was weird at very first but start up is good now too it had to burn of the rust off stuff i used on the old bolts. it is now completely fine i am overjoyed with the fitment and tone and i wanted to let you guys know incase ppl had issues.

the downpipe is 235 for stainless with a hiflow and will be getting that also to help my turbo breathe a little

How loud would you say the borla muffler is?

 

borla mufflers are pretty good, my buddy has one on his sc 2.4 and sounds damn good, i would say a lot better magnaflow...

I don't think so, he paid $265, the res. is another $65 i think.

 

correct, for the total cost he paid, it did n ot come with a res, but the borla muffler is a hell of a muffler, my bu ddy has it on his catless, res-less 2.4 sc with the borlaq xr1 muffler, and it sounds pretty damn nice

 

i have that same exhaust but with a 3" zzp dp and zzp header and its extremely loud with no resonator.

 

the borla is great magnaflow is too farty for a cobalt imo. i love the borla ill try to get a video my sister has the real video caera at college. Mine has no resonator and i dont have the dp yet ill try to get a clip beofre i turbo it this coming weekend so youll have an accurate NA sound
