Mid length vs. Long tube header

I have an injen intake and a 2.25" mendrel bent catback with a Magnaflow exhust. I am looking into getting a header and down pipe with my income tax. I really like the ZZP look and quality. My question is this: what would be the benefits on long tube vs. mid length? and how is the build quality with ZZP? I will be getting a tune using EFI LIVE.

Build quality is great!

Mid length gives power in the mid RPM range. Long tube gives power in the upper RPM range.

I have the midlength with 2.5" downpipe. If you are planning on staying NA then I would get 1.5" primaries.

I have to wait till march for them to have 1.5 back in stock. i was just curious if longtube would do me any good because it has 1.750 primaries.. sounds a lil big for a N/A car

It is a big difference. I would wait if you can.

I returned my 1.5 primary header to them when I bought just the 1.75 header portion of the combo. Ask if they have it and would sell at a lower price.

I had a shorty header and an lsj downpipe or a 2.5 catless pipe, got ride of it for a zzp long tube, I'll never go back.

Injen short ram, I feel the car runs better then with the cold air, 2.4 intake mani, zzp longtube into an lsj stock cat back. I had a Megan racing catback, loved it but the car was to slow to have an exhaust of that tone or volume, I swapped the exhaust before I did the longtube. Really wonder what the car would feel like with another 2.5 catback on it... That's the go mods

Sorry it's got the catt'd downpipe with a 2.5 inch out let.

X2 except catted. The power band feels strong. It sounds great.

I just got a 1.75" Mid length catted setup for my bolted 2.2, am I going to lose power with 1.75" over 1.5"?

You lose torque but maybe gain high end HP.

Yo, I run the LSJ Header, LSJ downpipe (gutted cat), and LSJ exhaust and she pulls like a screaming demon mind you I'm tunes w/ CAI and I.M. but it sounds real nice better than some after market 2.2 exhausts I have heard. I'm not sure about the primary sizes or anything like that but I almost positive the 2.2 does not need anything more than the LSJ downpipe, especially when you consider the gains vs the cost, is 3-4 hp really worth 300 dollars when you can score the LSJ DP gut the cat and be in the ball park? Run the LSJ Dp, and get your preference of header, but if anyone knows the primary sizes of the LSJ header it might be post worth
