most powerful n/a l61?

i looked around a bit to see what the most powerful/fastest naturally aspirated l61 cobalt is, didnt find much, i was wondering if anyone knew how far you can push this motor without boosting it? just wondering, thanks

The reason most people boost is because its more cost effective. 5k to keep n/a would be harder to make the 200whp than 2.5k would do for a 250whp turbo set up

now when you say 2.5k for a turbo setup, are you talking about piecing together your own kit? cause i dont think ive seen a turbo kit for the l61 for around 2.5k, maybe im just looking at the wrong places? i just checked the zzp site and it says 2099$ and then once you click on the click to select your options the price changes to 3800$

I'm just giving rough numbers. typically piecing together your own kit will save you quite a bit of money

ill definitely take that into consideration, i was just wondering cause i dont have 2k to spend on a turbo kit either at the moment, i figured i might just put a dp, catback and intake on and maybe tune it right now though, im about to start trying to rebuild my grandpas truck though soon and that will take the majority of my money for now
