my door would not open?

so today when i got in my balt and then tried to get out again the handle would not work at all, even the out side handle... had to crawl across and get out the passanger side. then it worked and then it wouldnt work like in a matter of like thirty seconds, doors wernt locked and there was noting jamed in them haha. the tech at the chevy dealer just sprayed some WD40 in the latch on the door and it seems to be working now. so just wondering if any one has had a problem like this. thanks

I had this exact problem with my drivers side door. I discovered the solution was to pull off the interior door panel and spray some white lithium grease at the lock mechanism. The metal was sticking, but since I did this it has never happened again.

I would recommend spraying some grease on it since WD40 will not last very long.
