Yea and the wires hide behind it.

Try Crateenginedepot.com

Or borrow one from the millions of 2.2s parked in the mall, roads etc.

that's how my 2.2 came once I took off the plastic cover. I think that first pic has bought that piece somewhere.

Exactly... and I think the coils are sticking up too far to fit one of those covers over it.

you will need the 2.4L cover probably since you have the same taller coil packs.

05-06 had an ignition coil/housing which is the "cover" you're talking about with an igntion control module for all 4 cylinders....

07 switched to individual coil on plug design......

sorry for bumping such an old thread, but i didnt feel this was worthy of creating a new thread for. I followed some of you guys' advice here and made a cover for my ICM.

before

after

it was fun I'm thinking about adding a silver decal that says 'COBALT' in the center of the cover. I'm also working on a similar cover but adding some stainless steel 'grill' mesh material inserts in it. Dont ask me why. I was just feeling creative one day lol. Oh yeah, one more thing... have any of you 2.2 guys ever thought of using a 2.0 fuel rail cover on our cars to hide our fuel rails? Just cover up the lettering or dremel it off. I dunno.

Umm guys. You do know thats TWO different methods of ignition right?

First picture is the way my 06 came. That whole piece holds the coils and you have ONE connector. In 2007 it came in INDIVIDUAL coil packs(cheaper to repair) and 4 individual connectors.

These two are NOT interchangeable as easy as you guys think.
