Yes they do know, it was discussed in like the next 10 posts. The post is from April, Htown just added what he did recently, post 23.

I personally think it cleaned it up. I like it. I want to cover mine up bad. They're fugly.

By themselves the individual coils and wiring are not "pleasing" to the eye -- looks like it is not finished. You can either leave them alone, cover them with a home-made cover (or something like MRZ's cover), or you can paint the center section of your VC semi-flat black. Painting it semi-flat black is a visual effect that tends to hide them by making it "blend".
