My new exhaust setup.
Some of you may know that I ripped a large hole in my flex pipe, my buddy and I removed it today and found out only the top inch of the flex pipe and flange were connected. I have a Sky RL exhaust at my house and it had the stock flex on it so we cut it off, cut off my stock piece, welded the braided Sky RL flex pipe in it's place and reinstalled it. We werent making something long term so it was quick, had shitty welds, and a few pinholes and ended up about an inch too long but we made it work. I am just glad my exhaust isnt coming into the cabin anymore.
I gotta say my current setup sounds sexy as hell but it was all improvised. I am running a JBP header, Modded oem exhaust, half of the Tsudo catback(front section with resignator) and a 2" turn down my buddy happened to have that dumps right infront of the rear axle. I am gonna get an exhaust vid ASAP because it seriously sounds like a boxter engine. It now pops and crackles during engine braking even more and is really deep. There is no rasp at all. It is amazing.
Unfortunately the MIL came on and I believe that is due to the fact that I wanted to hear it with no DP so I started it, let it run for a few minutes, and revved it a few times while the rear 02 was just hanging there. I love the sound and seeming power increase and hope it doesnt change when I get my CIA DP. I am thinking of keeping the dump on there and just using the front section of the Tsudo, even after I get the new DP.
