How many of you pissing and moaning have actually gone to the HPT site and posted that you want this? It took over 200 posts IIRC to get them to take notice of the J-Body interest. Posting here won't help you much. Get over there.

I have an 07 2.2 cobalt, so if no one responds within a nice time, I'll volunteer (being that I live in cranford, I dont want to volunteer first to drive an hour down to trenton if there's someone who is closer)

since we have to wait i think that our tune when it comes out should be 25 percent cheaper than all the rest

i pm'd him asking both why he locked the thread, and if there was any info he could give me... did not hear back..

I want tuning support NOW They should have been able to do it by now. If the 2007 is supported, will the 05, 06 ever come? I want a yes or a no. Give us an answer so that we can buy from you or we can find a new company for tuning support.

Trust me I've pretty much given you the latest info...and saying "alot of us got ripped off" isnt going to make the computer majically get coded. They/we KNOW you guys want it, but they also KNEW diesel guys wanted tuning, they KNEW dodge guys wanted tuning, they KNEW alot of other people want tuning...there is 1 person doing the coding and he is working as fast as he can to get as much support out there as possible. Name another company that supports as many gm vehicles as hptuners, nobody.

thats what im thinking...like I said theres alot of other stuff going on...the 07's just had a computer they had already cracked so it was a nobrainer to just add it to the supported list.

Its already been stated that it wont be finished in the next 3 months so if you think another company will get your pcm supported in that time frame go for it. I've already stated what chris has said and that it will get done...whether thats 4 months from now or next spring I don't think anyone can look that far into the future to tell you.

here's my exact quote... if someone thinks that this is worded harshly then they need to stay out of society...

3 years ago hptuners wasnt yet formed in reality. 6 months ago no cobalt guys were able to tune their pcms, not 2.2, not 2.0, not 2.4. Now most 2.4's have tuning, most 2.0's have tuning and some 2.2's have tuning. If you feel like doing the coding I recommend you get to it

Rallyyellow06 they arent necessarily harassing me, I understand their frustration...I really do. When hpt came out back in early 04 when I had my 98 Z28 they didnt have any software available for 98's because it was an oddity computer JUST LIKE YOU GUYS mind you we're talking 2004 and 98's werent yet available 6 years, get my drift? hehe bottom line is they'll put something together for you guys, and if you have to wait a few months it will sooooo be worth it. Me I was a dummy I went ahead and got dyno tuned by a local shop, paid basically $600 and the tune was horrible, 3 months later & 5 trips back to the place to try and fix their shitty tune I finally bought a new laptop & hptuners since it had just become available for 98's back in august of 04, 8 months or so after they first came out. And guys let me tell you, I havent looked back since.

Just understand im pulling for you guys, but gm rarely makes it easy on us...they change computers in vehicles more often the I change socks.

Anywayz that is all i gotta say about that

lata
Bill
