You change your socks once every three years?

07 cobalts are pretty much done...i just need to get my hands on one to make sure it reads IN VEHICLE fine...they've seen some vehicles where it would read fine on a bench but then go in car & have run into issues lol

not to mention s-10 2.2, sunfire 2.2, cavy 2.2, grand am 2.2, & alero 2.2 so they support some 2.2's...just that not all 2.2 computers are the same unfortunatly.

So, with all this about different computers do the 06 and 07 HHR use the same computer? Why would they use a certain computer for just one year model run? Everything else is the same. When I called Chevy even the part numbers for the computers were the same. Whats the deal with that? Does that mean my 06 HHR has the newer version computer? Too bad I don't live in NJ (in AZ actually) or I would be there in a heartbeat to try it!

I assume the 06-07 HHR use the same computer & both years of the 2.4 motor are supported by hptuners. I don't know why gm does what they do...they used the E40 computer in only the 05 vette then went to the E38(completely different)...same with 98 V8 fbodies they used one computer whereas the 99+ use another. GM is just silly like that sometimes

here here!

seriously though, a lot of ion guys have been waiting a while for this, and it looks like it might not even become a reality for us (and realistically, I can see why since there are so many damn changes for the 2.2, but it sucks)

I'd rather wait it out though than go with a band aid over a bullet wound type solution
